Affordable Dental Care – No Insurance Needed!

I arrived unhappy with my teeth. I've been to 3 other Dentist, one a National Chain. All were sub par and expensive. After speaking with Dr Orza, he gave me options that no other dentist ever offered and I didn't know were possible. Example, I had some erosion on the side of some molar from excessive brushing. He advised he could fill them in! He also trimmed a few of my front teeth to make my look straighter and more appealing. Here is the most amazing part, he did a crown in house. I am in a technical field and I was amazed at how fast they could make a crown, how accurate and how natural it looked in 2 hours! Compared to the only other Crown I had done 4 years ago, you couldn't tell it wasn't real and my old one look horrible, so bad I'm having Dr. Orza redo it! While the machine was making the crown, they attended to the fillings wasting no time. In my 51 yrs, I've NEVER experienced so little discomfort (NO PAIN) in having anything done with a dental visit let alone a crown. Then he advised a whitening procedure. I don't smoke or drink coffee, was told it was natural and I couldn't do anything but his procedure is working. Last, his prices are far less than others I've visited. I can't express enough the professionalism, speed and quality of the work Dr. Orza and his colleagues do on a daily bases! Do yourself a favor and see them!

I have a severe dentist phobia. I haven't been to a dentist in 15 years and would not have gone if I wasn't in extreme pain. From the first second, Holly answered the phone I knew I had called the right place and that everything was going to be ok. She assured me that they would take good care of me and that she would even hold my hand, and that's what she and the entire staff did from the moment I walked in. The office is very calming and doesn't feel like a dentists office at all. I can't say enough good things about the entire staff. They took care of me like I was family. They didn't laugh even when I cried over something so silly as Xrays. They were gentle, kind and comforting the entire time I was there. Dr. Vaughn was very sweet and didn't hurt me at all. She explained my options and referred me to an oral surgeon so I could be put to sleep when the work was done. Because of their kindness, I actually decided to get an implant done instead of just having my tooth pulled. It means more work and return trips to the dentist, but I'm ok with that knowing how they will treat me while I am there. I am switching my entire family to Dr. Vaughn's office and will be singing their praises to everyone I know!

I've been going to 1st Choice Dental for years. They have a friendly environment. All of the staff seems to be working toward the same common goal of meeting the customer's needs and making you feel comfortable. I qualified for Dental Insurance this year and had to find a dentist in my new network. My wife and I searched the internet for the recommendations of near 20-25 dentists in the East Cobb/South Cherokee area. After our thorough search, we settled on 1st Choice Dental Care in Woodstock. The main reason was Dr. Kelly Vaughn's credentials and her concern to alleviate the patient's fear and a threshold for pain. She is also one of the few Dentists who are Board Certified in our area. My first visit was filled with trepidation and fear. However, Dr. Vaughn and her staff of Z, Amanda, and Amy made me comfortable and pain-free. My first visit was very enjoyable. Love this place and these people! I broke a crown and needed to get in quickly. I was able to schedule online. They can do SAME-DAY/one appointment crowns - amazing. Very high tech and the easiest fitting ever. This was done on my first visit. But, I had been neglecting my regular cleanings and felt sure other issues might be found. They needed to do a deep cleaning/scaling. I did not question the diagnosis as this had been an issue in the past. They prepared a detailed treatment plan, including all costs and applied to my insurance benefit. They made sure I understood (a) what was going to be done and (b) what my bill would be. This treatment was done over two appointments that I was able to get scheduled later that same week. I went back for my regular cleaning/polishing today. My gums were much improved from my previous visit. WHAT I LIKE BEST about this practice is that everyone is friendly and welcoming. It feels like everyone working there is HAPPY to work there. It creates a very comfortable, relaxed patient experience. I am so happy to have found a new dentist!

I hadn't seen a dentist in quite a while so I was a little nervous before visiting 1st Choice. As soon as I walked in I was kindly greeted by their stellar staff and brought back for my cleaning right away. They located the problems I had swiftly and without much pain at all (which was unavoidable to some extent with how bad my status was) . They immediately scheduled me to have a side of cavities take care of later that afternoon allowing me time to grab lunch. Both the doctor and her assistant were very kind and skilled at what they did. From this fantastic first visit, I was super relaxed walking in for my second appointment. Everyone referred to me by name at my second appointment with kind greetings and smiling faces and it truly was an in and out experience. I would recommend 1st Choice Dental to anybody wishing to be treated with kindness and care for their dental needs and concerns. Also, I would like to mention that the pricing was much more affordable than past offices my family has used that tried to swindle us out of ridiculous amounts of money. Thank you 1st Choice!!!!

I came to the office having received a recommendation from a different dentist to have a crown replace a back tooth with a very old filling and two cracks in it. (I came to Dr. Vaughn for the crown for insurance considerations.) Dr. Vaughn said that though she could provide a crown, she thought the tooth only needed the filling to be replaced with a tooth-colored bonding substance - all at a much lower cost than a crown. So that's what we did. Everyone in the office was friendly, asked routinely about my comfort, offered water a couple times, provide a TV on the ceiling for patient distraction, showed me the cost of each procedure before any work was initiated, and took all the time & effort necessary to be sure my tooth felt fine after the procedure. And now hours later, the tooth feels very good - that is, an unnoticeable difference from the original (which is a good thing, since that tooth wasn't in any pain prior). So no pain then, no pain now from hard food, heat or cold. Just a more secure tooth. An A+ experience from the front desk to the dental assistant to the dentist.

What an amazing experience! First visit for a routine cleaning led to what I hope will be a long-lasting dentist/patient relationship. Love Dawn my new dental hygienist. She’s experienced, efficient and very quick. Never felt any pain as she took X-rays and cleaned my teeth. She called me shortly after I set up the appt to introduce herself and then, when I was 5 minutes late she called to make sure I hadn’t forgotten. Was having an overwhelming day, and needed her reminder. Kaitlyn, very warm and professional and so was the young lady who assisted with the Xrays. This office goes above and beyond to deliver excellence... even received a traveling blanket gift. Amazing!! After moving to ATL just a year ago, I’ve tried two different dentists but was totally dissatisfied. Needless to say, I’m thrilled I’ve found a new home. Was so excited, I gave Dawn a hug on the way out the door. Now just a matter of convincing the hubby to go and get a cleaning.

Being new to the area I had no idea who to go to for a dentist. I went to one recommended by my physician and while they were ok, the wait was ridiculous and the price for a crown was even more ridiculous. I went online and look for some other options and found 1st Choice. They also happen to be a provider for my insurance. It only took a couple of days to get an appointment and I instantly bonded with them, even over the phone! Heather was my first contact and I explained what I needed and she told me about the same day crowns. I made my appointment and it was truly amazing. Everyone was just wonderful and Karla made everything so comfortable. Dr. Orza was able to check everything (second opinion) and I was in and out in a couple of hours with a new crown. And for me, it was absolutely pain-free. Dr. Orza gave the best shot I have ever had. I love my new crown and I highly recommend them for any procedure you might need.
