Following implant placement, most patients only need an over the counter pain medication like Ibuprofen.  If you would rather "be asleep" for the placement, we offer oral and IV sedation so you can sit back and relax.

Dentures typically come with a whole new set of problems like poor fit and roof of mouth coverage.  Roof of mouth coverage leads to gagging and altered taste.  There is also nothing to stimulate the bone so the jaw bone continues to dissolve over time which may lead to more expensive procedures in the future.  We understand there are times when a denture is necessary, but if finances allow, we always recommend some type of implant solution for better longterm results and health.  Dentures only provide about 30% chewing efficiency and implants can increase that to nearly 100%
